ABOUT

Brandie Sweany is the founder and lead designer of Studio Evloh.  She studied Interior Design at Kent State University and has worked for large national commercial firms, as well as small residential design build firms.  Early on in her career she attained the highest levels of recognition, including an NCIDQ certification and a LEED accreditation. Over the past twenty years she has been fortunate to work on a variety of project types, including historic interior remodels, age in place residences, corporate offices, university learning environments, high end student housing, upscale cafes, and public libraries.

Brandie and her family are going on year 16 as Durhamites and feel super lucky to call Durham home.  When Brandie is not doing design work, she can be found reading, working in the yard, bringing new life to old light fixtures and chairs, and hunting around for special vintage finds.  Her business name (Evloh) was inspired by the names of her two children, Everett and Winsloh.
